I’ve experienced both extremes in my fitness journey. I’ve fallen for trendy ‘detox’ diets, cleansing teas, and rigid meal plans that were neither practical nor effective. I felt drained, categorized foods as ‘healthy’ or ‘unhealthy,’ avoided carbs like the plague, and felt guilty for indulging. Achieving my fitness goals seemed impossible! I found it difficult to implement lasting changes, leaving me feeling defeated and unmotivated. This cycle took a toll on my self-esteem and body image. Over time, I realized the importance of cultivating a balanced, sustainable approach to both fitness and nutrition. I completely understand! Like you, I’ve juggled a busy life filled with work and family responsibilities. Balancing full-time employment, parenting, and my health goals has been a challenge, but it’s so rewarding. I can assure you that you don’t need to spend hours in the gym every day. Incredible progress can be made with just 30 minutes a day, three times a week, especially when your diet supports your goals! FEEL INSECURE. It’s normal to feel intimidated when returning to the gym or starting a new fitness routine, especially with weights. I’ve never met anyone who hasn’t felt this way at some point!
